Marque Hersh runs Supermarket Sound, the hi-fi desk he started because every other gear site read like a spec sheet wearing a personality. He’s spent the better part of two decades chasing the same thing every honest listener chases: the moment the equipment disappears and only the music is left. He writes about turntables, DACs, amplifiers, headphones, IEMs, and speakers — with a bias toward what actually sounds good in a room over what merely measures well on a bench. He’s transparent about the fact that this site has to rank to survive, and he’d still rather publish one paragraph he believes than ten he doesn’t.
